Western Russia & 'Golden Ring' ITMB

This map of Western Russia and the 'Golden Ring' by ITMB is double sided @ 1:3,000,000 & 1:500,000.  Travel to Russia isn’t easy as that country imposes restrictions in retaliation for sanctions by much of the world as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.  However, it is possible and the heart of Mother Russia is a rough circle northeast of Moscow known as the Golden Ring of culturally-significant heritage cities such as Vladimir, Suzdal and Yaroslavl.  The ‘crème de la crème’ is Sergiev Posad.  Insets of these ancient cities are included on this map, along with a very detailed map of the region north and east of Moscow.  The reverse side portrays western or ‘European’ Russia from its western border to Perm and from St, Petersburg to the Caspian Sea. The route of the Trans-Siberian Rail Line is prominently shown.   This map also includes a large inset of Moscow’s centre, focused on the Kremlin and the historic old town of Moscva. Russia is too important a country to ignore, so here is a very good map of its heartland.
